Renaming the Global Organization

NOTE: Organizations can only be edited from the Global Organization. If the user edits an Organization CODE or any other information, the changes apply immediately in any Open and Closed SmartSolve records and also on Reports that are later generated by an end user.

1. From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Home tab.
2. In the Setup and Policy section, click Setup.
3. In the User Management section, click Organization.
   Result: The Organizations window is displayed.
4. Check the GLOBAL organization checkbox.
5. Click Action > Edit.
   Result: The Organization entry window is displayed.

6. Edit the code for and name of the organization.
7. Edit the division, location, and address information.
8. Click the Save button.
   Result: The organization changes have been saved and the Detail of the new organization is displayed.
